About This Course

Course Introduction

Traditional Chinese Facial Care Techniques is taught by Chen Lifang and covers facial care, hair growth and darkening, weight management and body contouring, common women's health concerns, and overall regulation. Rather than being a single beauty service, it brings acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, Yi cupping, and Fire-Dragon cupping into one study framework. It helps students understand relationships between facial concerns and qi and blood, meridians, zang-fu systems, and constitution, and learn to assess different facial presentations and individual foundations. It is intended for those moving beyond surface skin care toward an integrated Chinese-style approach to facial care.

Learn Step by Step

What You Will Learn

  • Systematically explore the basic reasoning behind facial gua sha, cosmetic acupuncture, cosmetic ear acupuncture, intradermal needles, microneedling, roller needling, cosmetic moxibustion, Yiguan cosmetic cupping, and weight-management contouring. Develop awareness of a full process from cleansing and relaxation, medium selection, technique pathways, and acupoint reasoning to aftercare.

  • For people working in beauty, wellness, physical therapies, or TCM-related services, this course can provide material for developing their services. Individual learners can also gain a more informed understanding of the learning boundaries and practice standards of traditional Chinese facial care.

Student Feedback

I used to know only facial skin care. The course helped me see how Chinese-style facial care considers qi and blood, constitution, and meridians.
