About This Course

Course Introduction

Taught by Xing Ge, Lingdong Acupuncture covers its theoretical origins, point-selection logic, combinations of lingzhen and dongzhen, prescriptions for common presentations, and practical applications. Returning to the classics, it draws on Lingshu, qi's ascending, descending, entering and exiting movements, holographic correspondences, and properties of the five transport points and six-point groupings. It emphasizes fewer needles, accurate point selection, and clear prescriptions. Topics span pain, respiratory and cardiovascular concerns, digestion, gynecology, sense-organ conditions, and cosmetic contouring. Complex material is organized into accessible point-selection reasoning and prescription structures, explaining why points are chosen, how lingzhen and dongzhen combine, and how to develop pattern-differentiation and practical approaches for particular concerns.

Learn Step by Step

What You Will Learn

  • This course systematically introduces the core Lingdong Acupuncture framework, the distinct roles of ling-needle and moving-needle methods within combinations, and how to develop clear needling reasoning using a small number of points.

  • The course introduces the Eighteen Luohan Points, holographic correspondence, addressing upper-body concerns through lower-body points, and the traditional principle that channel pathways relate to their treatment scope. Topics include common pain, shoulder, neck and knee concerns, headaches, toothache, chest tightness, insomnia, rhinitis and facial regulation, building a needling study system for review and practice.

  • After the course, you will understand why Lingdong Acupuncture emphasizes finding the correct 'switch point' and have a clearer approach to the selection logic behind different prescriptions. Beginners can build an introductory framework; experienced TCM practitioners can add concise clinical approaches and service-design ideas.

Student Feedback

I used to feel overwhelmed by the number of acupuncture points and did not know where to start. Lingdong Acupuncture's clear explanations of ling-needle and moving-needle methods and combination reasoning made studying much smoother.

The course is not just memorizing points. It explains why points are selected and how prescriptions are combined. As someone already working in therapy, I found it useful for developing acupuncture approaches.

I particularly liked the pain and sense-organ sections. Common concerns were organized into individual needle prescriptions, making review and notes convenient.
