Daoyin and Anqiao Practice
Study traditional daoyin and anqiao practices, interior-exterior pulse methods, and meridian pattern differentiation, building a systematic approach from middle-finger pressing and supplementing-draining combinations to self-care.
About This Course
Course Introduction
Daoyin and Anqiao Practice, taught by Zhao Zuoyan, combines traditional daoyin, anqiao methods, interior-exterior pulse approaches, and meridian pattern differentiation. Gentle pressing, meridian supplementation and draining, and guiding qi and blood are used to explore relationships among meridians, the zang-fu systems, qi and blood, and traditional concepts of pathogenic-qi outlets. The course describes its approach as simple, gentle, painless, and suitable for a broad range of participants, without complex equipment or strong stimulation. Learners begin with pressing using one middle finger, then study meridian identification, point location, supplementation and draining, and technique combinations to develop foundational self-care and family-care skills.

Student Feedback
Meridians used to seem very complicated. Starting with middle-finger pressing made it easier for me to engage with this course.
Supplementing-draining combinations and interior-exterior pulse methods were insightful, giving me a clearer direction for basic family care.
There is a lot of content, and the points and meridians need repeated review, but the instructor explains the approach to practice clearly.
