About This Course

Course Introduction

Tianyi Inward Observation Practice is a specialist TCM course taught by Instructor Xie Sanrun. It combines the Tianyi lineage, psychological counseling, meridian-based hypnosis, and guided inward observation. Through dialogue, settling into stillness, observation, and guidance, learners explore relationships between physical sensations, emotional states, and inner concerns. Rather than acupuncture, herbs, tuina, or external force, the course uses remote or in-person guided dialogue to support relaxation and teach emotional release, body scanning, inward awareness, and uplifting one's state. It is intended for mind-body practice students, health-consultation practitioners, specialist TCM learners, and people seeking to develop inward awareness and emotional regulation.

Learn Step by Step

What You Will Learn

  • Explore Tianyi Inward Observation Practice's basic sequence of introduction, settling into stillness, inward observation, and awakening, alongside its three steps of emotional knots, release, and upward development. Modules cover opening the heart wheel, releasing negative emotions, raising yang qi, scanning the five zang systems, revisiting the past, inner purification, and remote inward observation.

  • The course uses eight bagua scenarios to explore relationships between inner images and psychological states: sky, grassland, mountains, flowing water, flowers, trees, houses, and roads. Students can develop an inward-observation framework for self-awareness, emotional regulation, relaxation, and supporting client communication.

The eight scenarios are interesting. Using images to explore emotion and stress makes it easier to settle into the practice.

The course requires quiet practice and repeated experience, rather than just listening to facts, but its method is systematic.
